Questionnaire analysis and survey research
Questionnaire and Survey Analysis
Structured guidance for questionnaire design, pilot review, response coding and statistical analysis that connects every question and result to the research objectives.
Who this is for
Guidance aligned to your academic journey.
- BBA, MBA, PG and PhD researchers
- Students planning primary data collection
- Researchers with completed survey responses
- Learners revising weak questionnaires
Common problems
Issues this mentoring helps you resolve.
If any of these sound familiar, a focused session usually unblocks it.
- Questions that do not map to objectives or hypotheses
- Leading, duplicated, ambiguous or double-barrelled items
- Unclear constructs, scales, sampling or coding
- Completed responses without a defensible analysis plan
- Statistical output that is reported without interpretation
What we support
Bias, wording and content review
Scale and response option design
Pilot testing and sampling guidance
Data coding, cleaning and missing-value review
Reliability, statistical analysis and interpretation
Expected outcomes
Clarity, capability and defensible work.
- Questions aligned with research objectives
- Fewer ambiguous, leading or duplicated items
- A clean codebook and analysis plan
- Appropriate tests with stated assumptions
- Defensible interpretation of survey evidence

Read the Academic Integrity PolicyWhen should a questionnaire be reviewed?
Ideally before data collection and again after a small pilot, when unclear questions can still be corrected.
Can an existing questionnaire be improved?
Yes. It can be reviewed for objective alignment, wording, bias, duplication, scale design and analysis feasibility before data collection.
Can completed questionnaire responses be analysed?
Yes, after variables, coding, missing values, response quality and the research objectives are reviewed.
Which statistical tests are suitable?
The correct test depends on the objective, variable types, scale, sampling design, assumptions and number of groups. A test should not be selected only because software provides it.
Do you fabricate or complete survey responses?
No. Fabricated responses are not supported. Analysis must use lawfully and ethically collected data.
